Hey everyone. We are in week three of actively developing and showcasing the RPG WorldBuilder app and its working and upcoming features. If you find our project interesting we invite you to check out our landing page and sign up for updates and news concerning the app.
So, down to business.
This week we are looking at a new feature which allows users to create items, encounters, and locations and add them to the app’s database. This addition will eventually allow users to create unique app elements on their own, add them to the database, and then select and link them to a map tile. This allows for the creation of a single element that can be linked to multiple tiles. For example, if you wanted to make a specific encounter, say for instance goblins, you need only create and add the encounter to the database once. After that, you can select that encounter for as many tiles as you want. Essentially you could create an entire library of items, encounters, and specific locations that you could link to any map you create.
